S3 Max Firmware Update Guide for Mac
Note: The Mac OS system must be version 13.4 or higher to properly update the firmware for the S3 Max docking station.
Step 1: Extract Files
Extract the downloaded S3_Max_Firmware_Upgrade_Kit.zip file and open the MacOS folder inside to verify all files are present.
Note: Place the entire folder on your Mac desktop path.

Step 2: Prepare Cables
Prepare a USB-C to C charging cable with data transfer functionality and a full-featured (supporting audio and video transmission) USB-C male-to-female cable.
Step 3: Connect S3 Max
Connect the S3 Max to your Mac in the order shown below:
Step 4: Check USB Port
Turn on your Mac and follow the steps below to check whether the computer's USB port recognizes Billboard.
Step 5: Update Firmware
Ensure Billboard is detected in Step 3, then open the Terminal on your Mac, as shown below:

Note: A "success......!" message indicates the firmware has been successfully flashed.
