Needs air cooling slots for docked Switch

headline: It works! Which is fabulous, and looks stylish. However the dock needs venting slots as they currently block the switches own ones. Ideally a small fan in there would also help exhaust air as well. I believe a mk2 is out now and should be great. Shame I missed out on it by a week or so.

Product works as described. This is my 2nd dock. My first was the Antank S3 Air works with the switch 1 and switch 2. The max only works with the Switch 2, this one has the Ethernet port, when the others did not.

This was ok, but I’ve seen there is now a version with active cooling. Does that mean mine isn’t safe to use?

Although it doesn't have the active - cooling feature like the new version, all of our docks, including the one you have, are designed to provide better heat dissipation than the original Nintendo Switch 2 dock. Our R & D team has made great efforts to optimize the structure and materials to ensure effective heat transfer and ventilation, even without the additional active - cooling design.

The original dock may not have sufficient ventilation, which can cause the console to overheat during long - term use. However, our docks, regardless of the model, have been carefully engineered to prevent this issue. So you can continue to enjoy a smooth gaming experience with your current dock without any worries about safety or overheating problems.
