Works fine

Nice for second playroom. Inserting Switch 2 takes some getting used to.

Not a bad 2nd dock for your Switch 2

This dock is surprisingly very light and portable - perfect for travel or just don't want to move around your original Switch 2 dock from TV to TV at home (like me lol). It is very good build quality. The design is minimalistic yet great looking with the switch colors on the sides. The Switch 2 lines up very easily onto the dock and fits tight as described. There is a tab behind the male USB-C connector that helps keep your Switch 2 snugly in so it's more secure in general. It is very easy to setup. Of course, it is best if you use the original Switch 2 power cord, but the manual says any minimum 60w USB-C power brick would work and max charging at 100w (So says the picture on the listing but I thought the Switch could only charge at 60w max). When I tried it, I was using a 65w water anker power brick with a random 60w usb-c cable and it worked and charged fine. Another note, if you're not going to use the original Switch 2 HDMI cord, make sure you're using an Ultra High Speed' or 'HDMI 2.1 one, otherwise, there may be issues (or so I've heard, I don't want to find out with mine). I used one I usually plug my Xbox into and it worked perfectly. The picture on my Switch 2 TV mode while docked to this dock looked identical to the original one to me. Regardless if you play on TV or tabletop mode, it will charge, so you can easily use it anywhere as a portable charging dock if you're not going to play docked to a TV. The only small thing I didn't like is that this model does not have a built in ethernet port for wired internet like the original. If it did, this would be 5/5. I do recommend it to have as a spare portable dock.

A great item for a second dock or travel dock

I got this to serve as a second dock for my Switch 2. What really drew me to it was its small , sleek design which makes it super portable for my travels. Very happy with it!

Console bottom vents blocked, but still runs cooler then official dock.

The Antank TV Dock Station seems lightweight for it’s size. Let me explain about the “seems lightweight” comment. I acquired 2 different docks to test out at the same time. One that is round, and feels heavier then the Antank TV Dock. Weighing them, the Antank TV Dock is a little heavier then the round one. I think the reason it “seems lighter” is because the size of the Antank TV Dock is larger and I just anticipated it feeling heavier then it does. There are no holes anywhere on the base to dissipate the heat from the dock. It also blocks the vents on the bottom of the console. To see if this was going to have an impact on the console temperature I ran some tests. I took some temperature readings of the console once removed from the official docked after 30 minutes of playing and again after 1 hour 30 minutes. I did the same using the Antank TV Dock. When taking a temperature reading of the front of the console, the temperature was within a few tenths of a degree between the two. The bigger difference was when I took temperature reading of the back of the console. The Antank TV Dock ran a little more then 2 degrees cooler in my tests. I would feel better if the Antank TV Dock Station had a little more weight in the base of the dock. When I first unpacked it and placed my console on it, I thought it felt very tippy. I do not feel that way any more, especially once the HDMI and power connector are attached to the base. It would take some force to tip it over. You have to put a little force on the console to fully seat it to the dock. It makes a firm connection between the 2. You will not be able to lift the console off the dock with one hand like you can with the official dock. You will need a second hand to pull the 2 apart. It has a LAN port, 2 USB ports, AC Adapter port, and the HDMI port. It does not come with a HDMI cable or power supply. I tried it with a 3rd party high speed HDMI and PD power supply. I did not encounter any issues. I could not tell any difference in video quality compared to the official dock.
